Boeing facility in Seattle gets an Artira

Back in 2016, our longterm partner Mobility Concepts installed an Artira at Boeing’s Test Vehicle Lab in Seattle, Washington, USA. The then newly remodeled facility has been used for new Boeing production projects.
For this installation, the drive box was placed at the bottom of the stairs due to limited space at the upper landing. The optional Garaventa Lift infill panels located between the towers of the lift create an additional safety barrier. Thanks to the team’s fantastic work, people in wheelchairs and those with limited mobility can travel safely between floors.

The Artira is an inclined platform lift designed to carry passengers up and down straight or curving stairways, over flat landings or over spiral staircases.
