Congratulations to our Dealer P.R. King & Sons. for being voted #1 in the Win a Swiss Watch contest for the second half of 2021. Every six months, the previous six winners of the “Project of the Month” photo contest are automatically entered into a contest to Win a Swiss Watch.

Replacing an older GSL 1 with a new Artira at the Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace at a heritage-listed cinema in the northern Sydney suburb of Cremorne, Australia made them the winner of this contest. The cinema accents with shades of pink & purple with incandescent lighting bringing a 1920’s feel.

The customer was looking for an accessibility solution that would fit this interior. A custom-colored light pink Artira was chosen, which matches the heritage decor smoothly added to the eccentric look of the cinema. This cinema hosts a wide range of old ’30s, the 40’s,50’s & 60’s movies to a large clientele, so mobility access was a huge requirement for the room.

With this outstanding and unique installation, P.R. King & Sons. have convinced most of our participants to elect this project as the best Garaventa Lift installation of the last six months.
