The Savaria Luma L, available through Garaventa Lift, features a larger cabin than our standard Luma lift, making it well-suited for use with many styles of mobility devices. If you’re looking to skip the stairs, this two-stop personal home lift features luxury details such as automatic ambient lighting, fully enclosed acrylic cabin and hidden cables.
The shaftless, no-pit design makes the Luma lift an easy installation of only 1 to 2 days and ideal for installation in an existing home.
Manufactured by Savaria and available through Garaventa Lift, the Luma L features a wider 32½-inch clear door opening and a spacious 31½-by-47¼-inch cabin. It accommodates mobility devices such as walkers, rollators and slim-line wheelchairs.*
A sloped threshold makes entry easier and helps reduce tripping hazards. With a footprint of approximately 46 by 52 inches, Luma L offers flexible placement while providing additional cabin space.

Luma L combines practical accessibility with a finish that complements your home. Its reliable, quiet winding drum drive provides straightforward operation, while clear acrylic panels, recessed lighting and a white powder-coated finish create a bright, open cabin.
Whether you use a mobility device or simply prefer extra room, Luma L offers a comfortable way to move between floors.
Adding a lift to your existing home has never been easier with the Luma lift. With its self-supporting rail system, the Luma lift travels through a simple floor cut-out and requires no pit below the lift. There’s no hoistway needed, and most installations take only 1 day to complete.
Known for long-term reliability, the winding drum drive operates quietly with a smooth start and stop. You won’t see cables like some other through-floor lifts and everything is tucked away. The lift is battery powered with automatic charging using standard household power. During a power outage, the Luma lift should provide about 5 up and down trips.
The Luma lift has a self-supporting structure, eliminating the need for a support wall, and giving you flexibility for placement in the home. Construction preparation includes creating a floor cut-out with reinforcement, along with providing a nearby power outlet.
The Luma lift includes many safety features including obstacle sensors to stop the lift in either direction if it meets an obstruction. An overspeed arrestor ensures the lift never exceeds the appropriate speed. The fully enclosed cab keeps you safe while travelling, and the interlock system keeps the door locked unless you are safely at a landing.

The Luma L lift is delivered to your local dealer semi-assembled, along with a ceiling/floor trim liner. This makes for fast installation of often only 1 day. Prior to installation, your dealer or local contractor completes the site preparation work including cutting the ceiling/floor with reinforcement as needed, and providing a standard power outlet, usually in the floor cut-out area.
