Emergency Manual Lowering

In an extreme emergency, the elevator cab can be lowered manually in order to evacuate a stranded passenger. It is preferable to call a trained technician prior to using the manual lowering device. However, if time is of the essence then the elevator can be lowered manually. Detailed operating instructions are included in the Owners Manual.
