Construction of Pit (Elvoron LU/LA and Stella)

The pit must be the same width and length as the hoistway. The majority of the weight of the lift is borne by the plunger (ram). Reactions are indicated on each project’s shop drawings. A 14” (355 mm) pit is recommended.
