Our thanks and appreciation go out to Stewart Smith and the rest of the great crew at Genesis Elevator of Kennesaw, Georgia. Their submission of photos from the Seven Oaks Country Club in Alpharetta, GA has earned them the Garaventa Lift Project of the Month for April, 2018.
Can you spot the Genesis Enclosure elevator? This project is a perfect example of an accessibility application that blends in with its environment. The champagne aluminum extrusions closely match the beige siding on the building providing an aesthetically pleasing installation.
The Seven Oaks Country Club offers community events, a fitness center and other opportunities for homeowners to socialize with other residents. The Genesis Enclosure Elevator is a great addition to the community center and it will provide a fully code-complaint accessibility solution.
This month, we are sending our appreciation and support to Handi-Lift Inc. of Carlstadt, New Jersey. Congratulations to Bob Grigorov, James Boydston and the rest of the great professionals at Handi-Lift. Their installation of a LULA Elevator at the Mediterraneo restaurant in White Plains, NY has earned them the Garaventa Lift Project of the Month for October, 2017.
The elevator is a three-stop unit installed right in the middle of this new modern and upscale restaurant. It is a very impressive installation. The location of the elevator within the establishment ensures it is seen as an architectural centerpiece. The elevator was supplied with a custom-colored aluminum and glass enclosure by Garaventa. The elevator cab is also aluminum and glass.
The top landing is connected to the top seating area by a beautiful catwalk. The view from this area is spectacular, since all of the exterior walls are made from tinted glass panels.
Their submission of photos from the Nixon Residnce in Park City has earned them the Garaventa Lift Project of the Month for April, 2017.
The installation features an Elvoron hydraulic drive elevator with an aluminum and glass cab. The aluminum framing for the cab is painted black and the fixtures are standard brushed stainless steel. The Car Operating Panel (COP) features the optional integrated hands-free telephone, and the cab gate is powered to open and close automatically.
The hoistway walls also feature large panels of laminated safety glass to allow passengers to enjoy the view outside as they are traveling between floors.
