The items listed below are additional optional features available on the Shaftway Model.
In locations where the lift cannot be easily monitored or as required by code, an autodial telephone can be installed on the platform. This ADA compliant telephone allows the lift user to make contact with pre-programmed help numbers with the push of a button. Note: This option will require the building owner to provide and maintain an active telephone line to the Genesis mast location.
When the Genesis Shaftway model is installed as a floor mount unit, the lift can be supplied with a landing ramp that will provide a smooth and easy transition to the platform. It is recommended that you use a Power Door Operator at landing where a ramp is used.
For outside installations where cold temperatures are a concern, a mast heater can be installed that will protect the hydraulic fluid from freezing.
Custom mast side wall panel kits are available to fill the open area on either side of the mast. The panel kit will enhance the overall appearance of the Genesis and close off the space. The panel kit includes the painted steel panels to fill the area between the mast and the inside of the shaftway wall.
For the ultimate in quiet operation, the hydraulic drive system can be located up to 10 ft away in a remote drive cabinet.
The Genesis Vertical lift can be equipped with a folding seat. The seat is designed for use by semi-ambulatory passenger, the folding seat is equipped with a safety belt.
For low usage applications, full time battery operation is available. The drive is powered by a 24VDC battery pack charged from the building mains power by an integrated automatic charger. Continuous mains power is required if the lift is equipped with a fan and ventilation system.
The arrival gong option will provide an audible alert when the platform arrives at a landing. The digital floor display will show the direction of travel when the lift is in operation. It will also show the designated floor when the lift is stopped at a landing.
