Genesis Shaftway Platform Controls

Rocker Style Platform Switches (standard)

The standard platform controls for the Genesis Vertical Lift consist of an easy to use constant pressure rocker style switch and an audible Illuminated Emergency Stop/Alarm switch. The platform controls are supplied keyless. These controls can be equipped with an optional key switch and may be required in your local jurisdiction.

Platform Controls: Constant Pressure Buttons (optional)

The push button controls are illuminated and tactile. These platform controls are equipped with an audible Illuminated Emergency Stop/Alarm switch and two courtesy lights that activate when the passenger enters the lift and during operation. Note: these courtesy lights do not replace the requirement for proper lighting in the lift as required by the applicable safety codes. If required, the push button type controls can also be equipped with an optional key switch.

Autodialer Phone (optional)

In locations where the lift cannot be easily monitored or as required by code, an autodial telephone can be installed on the platform. This ADA compliant telephone allows the lift user to make contact with pre-programmed help numbers with the push of a button. Note: This option will require the building owner to provide and maintain an active telephone line to the Genesis mast location.

Call Stations

The platform is called to the landing by pressing the appropriate directional control.

Call Station Controls (standard)

The standard call station is equipped with a rocker style switch and is keyless. Standard Call stations can be mounted in the aluminum extrusion frame of the lift beside the upper and lower door/gate.

Call Station Controls (optional)

An illuminated and tactile constant pressure button style call station is available as an option. An optional key switch can be supplied and may be required in certain jurisdictions.

Call Station Mounting

Call stations can be wall mounted, flush mounted or surface mounted.
