Plexiglas Dome Roof and Fan
Sloped Roof
The items listed below are additional optional features available on the Enclosure Model.
For outdoor applications, a bronze tinted Plexiglas dome can be mounted onto the enclosure. This dome comes standard with a drip rail for rain and condensation.
Made of durable steel, the sloped roof is designed for directional water run off or for installations where a Plexiglas dome would not be appropriate (ie against a building).
The fan and ventilation system consists of two exhaust fans, thermostatic control and a 12 VDC battery backup. The dual fans circulate and completely replace the air in the enclosure every minute when the inside enclosure temperature exceeds 85°F, in accordance with ASME A17.1 and A18.1 code requirements. Some local codes require a fan and ventilation system for an enclosure lift fitted with Plexiglas panels and a dome. This system requires Continuous Mains Power.
When the Genesis Enclosure model is installed as a floor mount unit, the lift can be supplied with a landing ramp that will provide a smooth and easy transition to the platform. It is recommended that you use a Power Door Operator at landing where a ramp is used.
For outside installations where cold temperatures are a concern, a mast heater can be installed that will protect the hydraulic fluid from freezing.
In locations where the lift cannot be easily monitored or as required by code, an autodial telephone can be installed on the platform. This Autodial telephone allows the lift user to make contact with pre-programmed help numbers with the push of a button. Note: This option will require the building owner to provide and maintain an active telephone line to the Genesis mast location.
Custom infill panel kits are available to seal off the dead space between the enclosure and the wall, next to the mast. The panel kit will enhance the overall appearance of the Genesis Enclosure Model. The panel kit includes a frame and panels to fill the area.
For the ultimate in quiet operation, the hydraulic drive system can be located up to 10 ft away in a remote drive cabinet.
The Genesis Vertical lift can be equipped with a folding seat. The seat is designed for use by semi-ambulatory passenger and is equipped with a safety belt.
For low usage applications, full time battery operation is available. The drive is powered by a 24VDC battery pack charged from the building mains power by an integrated automatic charger. Continuous mains power is required if the lift is equipped with a fan and ventilation system.
The arrival gong option will provide an audible alert when the platform arrives at a landing. The digital floor display will show the direction of travel when the lift is in operation. It will also show the designated floor when the lift is stopped at a landing.
