Garaventa Style Doors/Gates and Frames

The Genesis Enclosure Model utilizes the Garaventa style door and gate. These non-fire rated doors and gates are pre-hung in an champagne colored anodized aluminum extrusion frame and outfitted with an offset "D" handle. The doors and gates are constructed of matching aluminum extrusions with powder coated 16 gauge galvanized steel kickplate and upper panel.

The door height is 2032mm (80") and the gate height is 1070mm (42 1/8") and both are available in 2 widths 905mm (35 5/8") or 1046mm (41 1/8").

Finishes (optional)

As an option the door panels can be replaced with bronze tinted, clear Plexiglas or laminated glass by others. Note the kickplate of the door is always 16 gauge galvanized steel. The doors can also be painted from a variety or RAL colors or custom colors. The door/gate can also be designed for custom panels by others.

Garaventa Mechanical Interlock (standard)

The Garaventa Mechanical Interlock is the standard lock used for two stops enclosure lifts that are equipped with Garaventa doors and gates. Activated by the movement of the platform, the lock is monitored by the safety circuit to ensure the door or gate is properly locked.

Powerlock 2000 (optional)

The Powerlock 2000 is a 24 VDC solenoid powered interlock that is monitored by the safety circuit to ensure the Garaventa door/gate is properly locked during operation.

Interlocks by Others (optional)

Garaventa lifts can be configured to accept interlocks and strikes by others, typically in fire doors. Consult your local Garaventa representative for more information about this feature.

Garaventa PDO - Power Door Operator (optional)

The Garaventa Power Door Operator (PDO) automatically opens the door/gate when the platform arrives at a landing. When the lift is at the landing, the passenger can press the call station button or gently pull on the door/gate to activate the door opener. Power door operators are recommending when the lift is equipped with a ramp. Certain applications may limit the use of this operator. Consult your authorized Garaventa representative for which power door operator is appropriate for your application.
